Tennis / Basketball Court Rules


The courts are for the use of Club members and their guests. Only one court can be used by a member and his or her guest at any single time.

All members must have a membership card and a key to the courts to play tennis/basketball. Persons playing without a card or key will be asked to leave.

Members are responsible for locking the court gate both during and after play. Keys cost $2.00 and are obtainable from the lifeguard on duty.

Playing time is limited to one hour, if others are waiting to play. If someone joins you after you have begun playing the original limit applies. If Tennis and Basketball are being played at the same time every attempt will be made not to interfere with the games being played on each court. If no one wants to pay basketball, both Tennis Courts may be used. The courts being used are on a first come sign up bases.

Only tennis shoes may be worn on the playing surface. No bicycles, roller skates, or other vehicular mechanisms shall be allowed inside the tennis area. No leaning or sitting on the nets.

Courtesy should be practice on the courts at all times. Please refrain from disturbing other players while play is in progress.

Both courts will be operated on a reservation basis during pool hours. Reservations shall be made on one-day basis only. During those hours that the club is open, you must sign up at the desk before you play. The penalty for not signing in at the desk is forfeiture of your court.

No food or drink is allowed in the Tennis/Basketball Court area, with the exception of water.

During club hours, members bringing guests must report in at the front desk with guest pass or pay $5.00 it will be processed accordingly.

During the time the club is open (swimming season), the hours from 6:00 PM to dark are reserved from adults and/or young people who work full time. An exception shall be made in cases when a child is playing with an adult.

PLAYERS ARE ASKED TO BE COURTEOUS AND RESPECTFUL OF THE ONE HOUR PLAYING TIME AND TO OBSERVE GENERAL RULES AT ALL TIMES.
